Shutt’s Home Services

Services Provided
Shutt’s Home Services ("Company," "we," or "us") offers professional home care and seasonal services, including, but not limited to:
Interior and exterior window cleaning
Power washing
Screen cleaning
Snow removal
Christmas lighting installation and removal
Other exterior and seasonal services as agreed upon
Scheduling and Access
All services must be scheduled in advance.
Clients are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property and work areas.
If access is unavailable at the scheduled time, a cancellation fee may apply.Pricing and Payment
Estimates are based on the size, condition, and scope of the job and may be adjusted upon inspection.
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.
Accepted payment methods include cash, check, Venmo, and Zelle.
Late payments may incur a 5% late fee after 7 days.
A deposit of 25% to 50% may be required at Shutt’s Home Services’ sole discretion.Cancellations and Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made within one week of the scheduled appointment may result in a 50% charge due to the reserved time and employee scheduling.Track Cleaning
Track cleaning is a challenging task and cannot be guaranteed to be perfectly clean despite our best efforts.Liability and Damages
While we take great care in performing our services, we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or damages to improperly installed structures.
Shutt’s Home Services is not liable for subcontractor work. Any insurance claims related to subcontractor services must be handled through the subcontractor’s insurance provider.
Any damage caused by our staff must be reported within 24 hours for evaluation and resolution.Weather Policy
Exterior services may be rescheduled due to inclement weather (rain, snow, high winds, etc.) to ensure safety and quality.
Snow removal services will be performed based on weather conditions, severity, and timing of snowfall.Holiday Lighting
Services include installation, removal, and timer setup.
Clients must provide lights in good working condition. We are not responsible for malfunctions due to faulty lights, wiring, or weather-related issues.Satisfaction and Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with your service, please notify us within 24 hours. We will make reasonable efforts to address any concerns.
Refunds are offered at the sole discretion of Shutt’s Home Services after a review of the situation.
Touch-ups or rework may be provided as alternatives to refunds.Rescheduling Due to Unforeseen Circumstances
In the event that a scheduled appointment must be postponed due to circumstances beyond our control—including, but not limited to, inclement weather, equipment failure, or staffing issues—Shutt’s Home Services will reschedule the service at the next available time slot that fits our operational schedule.
Clients may not demand a specific time or date as a replacement and understand that availability is limited based on route efficiency, staffing, and previously scheduled commitments. If a client chooses to cancel the rescheduled appointment due to not receiving a preferred time, a 25% cancellation charge may be applied at the sole discretion of Shutt’s Home Services. We are always looking to be fair and reasonable with our clients. We expect you to do the same.
We appreciate your understanding as we strive to fairly accommodate all clients while maintaining quality and reliability in our services.
Recurring Services
Clients enrolled in recurring or seasonal service plans (e.g., snow removal, routine window cleaning) may receive preferred pricing and priority scheduling.Service Area
We serve Annapolis, Severna Park, Edgewater, Arnold, surrounding areas of Anne Arundel County, and throughout Maryland.Privacy
We respect your privacy. Client information is used solely for communication, scheduling, and business operations. We do not sell or share personal data.Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland.General
All work performed by Shutt’s Home Services is subject to these Terms and Conditions, whether or not the client has reviewed them.
